Introduction
엄재원 작가는 기억 속에 존재하는 추억, 그리움 등을 자신만의 드로잉 기법을 통해 단순한 이미지로 재구성하는 작업을 한다.
캔버스가 아닌 아크릴, 레진으로 만든 오브제나 알루미늄판 위에 팝아트 형식을 빌려 섬세하게 이미지화한 다음 작은 프레임을 겹쳐 큰 프레임 안에 집합시키는 작업이다.
그림 안에 텍스트도 함께 조합하여 이미지 전달의 보편성을 전한다.
이번 전시는 20여점의 조형 작업들이 곁들인 작품들이 출품할 예정이다.
Gallery Jeon's art agency 'J&Art Platform' will hold a solo exhibition of 'Eom Jae-won', who was selected as the artist of the year for [New Artist PROJECT], which is planned every year to discover and grow new artists.
Artist Eom Jae-won works to reconstruct the memories and longings that exist in her memory into simple images through her own drawing technique.
It is a work of creating delicate images in the form of pop art on an object made of acrylic or resin rather than canvas or on an aluminum plate, and then overlapping small frames and assembling them in a large frame.
The text is also combined in the picture to convey the universality of images.
In this exhibition, about 20 works with formative work will be presented.
