개관 19주년 기획전으로 현재 미국, 싱가폴 등 해외에서 활발히 활동하고 있는 이진휴 작가를 초대했다. 2023년 미국 특별전에 초대작가로도 참여한 작가는 그의 작품에 대해 ‘나의 그림은 머물러 있는 한 장면의 필름이다. 나는 시간을 그리고 있다.’라고 단편적인 말로 표현한다.
 

​스페인 마드리드 대학과 동 대학원을 졸업한 작가는 동서양 문화의 차이에서 오는 불협화음들을 주변에서 만나는 오브제들을 이용하여 작품 속에 하나의 에너지로 통일시킨다. 여러 가지 재료들로 인해 다채롭고 암시적인 배경과 독립된 이미지들이 혼재되어 있다.
 

​작가의 작품에는 다양한 문화가 교차 되고 과거와 현재가 공존하는 등, 상반된 오브제를 끌어들이며 구상과 비구상의 조화로운 하모니를 만들어낸다.
 

​이번 전시는 오브제를 도입한 반 입체 작품들이 주류를 이루며 아트 토큰과 협업한 NFT 작품도 포함될 예정이다.
 

​As a special exhibition celebrating the 19th anniversary of the opening of Gallery JEON, we invited artist Jinhyu Lee, who is currently active abroad, including the US and Singapore. In 2023, he participated as an invited artist in the special exhibition of in the United States. Regarding his work, the artist said, 'My painting is a film of a scene that stays. I am drawing time.’ He expressed in fragmentary words.
 

​The artist, who graduated from the University of Madrid and its graduate school in Spain, unifies the dissonant sounds from the differences between Eastern and Western cultures into one energy in his work by using the objects he encounters around him. Due to various materials, colorful and suggestive backgrounds and independent images are mixed.
 

​In the artist's work, various cultures intersect and the past and the present coexist, attracting conflicting objects and creating a harmonious harmony between figurative and non-figurative.
 

​This exhibition will be dominated by semi-dimensional works that use objects, and NFT works in collaboration with art tokens will also be included.
